About florida cultural arts and music hall of fame

Our Mission

Florida Cultural Arts and Music Hall of Fame Inc is a non-profit, charitable organization established in the State of Florida to promote and preserve African American Culture, History, and Heritage through the Arts.

Our Team

Our team is made up of passionate individuals who are experts in their respective fields. From music and film to theatre and literature, we have a diverse range of backgrounds that enable us to provide comprehensive coverage of the arts.

Our Vision

Vision Statement: Our vision is to serve as a unifying cultural force to bridge gaps between communities, cultures, and generations to create a more just and equitable world.

OUR GOALS

A. To empower individuals of all ages through the arts

B. To provide a platform for engagement, education, and creative expression that amplifies the voices of African Americans in all its forms

our 3 areas of focus

Culture

We celebrate the African Diaspora as an acknowledgement and recognition of the rich and diverse heritage that has spread across the globe. It is an occasion to honor the resilience, creativity, and cultural contributions of people of African descent. We embrace the shared experiences, traditions, and achievements that have emerged through vibrant festivities, art, music, literature and story telling.

Independent Artists

Florida Cultural Arts recognizes the vital role independent artists play in enriching our cultural landscape and fostering creativity within our communities. With a strong commitment to supporting these artists, Florida Cultural Arts has established comprehensive programs aimed at providing education, resources, and opportunities for growth.

One such initiative is the Artist-in-Residency program, which offers independent artists the chance to engage with a diverse range of audiences and collaborate with local institutions.

Moreover, educational workshops and seminars are organized to enhance artistic skills, business acumen, and marketing strategies, empowering artists to thrive independently. Florida Cultural Arts also facilitates networking events, exhibitions, and performances, enabling artists to showcase their work and forge connections within the arts community.

Music Hall of Fame

. The Music Hall of Fame serves as a platform for preserving, promoting, and honoring the legacies of iconic African-American musicians, singers, composers, and performers who have significantly shaped various genres, including jazz, blues, gospel, R&B, hip-hop,  and more. Through exhibitions, interactive displays, performances, and educational programs, the Music Hall of Fame provides a captivating and immersive experience that highlights the remarkable achievements of these talented individuals, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of African-American musical heritage within the broader cultural fabric of Florida.
