Florida Cultural Arts and Music Hall of Fame is a Fort Lauderdale-based nonprofit founded on a deep passion for preserving and celebrating the rich history and culture of African diaspora artists through the arts.
Our mission is centered on building a museum that will serve as a permanent home for this history while also providing therapeutic music programming for autistic youth and young adults, and hosting an Artist in Residence program for youth ages 13–19 that mentors adults across film, theatre, music, visual arts, and literature—educating them on contracts and helping them develop successful, sustainable music careers.
Through our three signature events—the Music Hall of Fame Awards Show, the RNB Music & Art Exhibit, and Red and Black on the Green—we give artists a powerful platform to showcase their talents while experiencing the glamour and prestige of an awards show that rivals the Grammys, Stellar Awards, and Dove Awards.
We also provide booking opportunities for those looking to book local and national artists for events, performances, and appearances. At our core, we are committed to honoring our legacy, empowering the next generation of creatives, and ensuring our cultural contributions are protected, celebrated, and never forgotten.
Florida is rich in the history of African Diaspora culture, yet many of these powerful stories within the state's vibrant arts and culture remain undocumented and at risk of being lost. Your donation supports the RnB Collective Documentary in preserving these voices — from the sounds of 1865 to today — by funding interviews, research, and preservation efforts that highlight the invaluable contributions of Florida artists. This initiative is crucial for preserving our cultural heritage and may even lead to recognitions such as the Florida Artist Hall of Fame for those who have shaped Florida's arts.
